Location: Abertillery/Ebbw Vale

Employment Type: Temporary/Full Time

Working Hours: 8-5.30

Salary: £12 an hour

Job Description:



Position Objective:

We are seeking a friendly and approachable Customer Feedback Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging with the general public to gather feedback on the services we offer. This role is crucial in helping us understand and improve the customer experience at our recycling centre.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with Visitors: Approach and interact with visitors at the recycling centre to gather their feedback on the services provided.
  • Survey Administration: Conduct face-to-face surveys, distribute feedback forms, and assist visitors in completing them as needed.
  • Data Collection: Accurately record and compile feedback from the public using provided tools and software.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports summarizing the feedback received, highlighting key areas of concern, suggestions, and positive comments.
  • Customer Service: Address any immediate concerns or questions from visitors and escalate issues to the Site Manager when necessary.
  • Promotional Activities: Inform visitors about any new services, changes, or improvements at the recycling centre.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the site staff to ensure a smooth flow of information and consistent visitor experience.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both staff and visitors.


Qualifications:

  • Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in customer service, public engagement, or a similar role is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse range of people.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, approachable, and able to build rapport quickly with visitors.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to handle visitor concerns calmly and efficiently, providing solutions or escalating when necessary.
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer skills for data entry and report preparation.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk around the site for extended periods.


Working Conditions:

  • Outdoor Work: The role is primarily based outdoors at the recycling centre.
  • Weather Conditions: Must be prepared to work in various weather conditions, with appropriate protective clothing provided.
  • Flexible Hours: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required by the recycling centre's operational hours.
