Job Title: Internal Salesperson

Location: Newport

Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday (8:30am - 5:00pm)

Friday (8:30am - 4:30pm)

Salary: £27,000 - £29,000 Per Annum

Candour Talent Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Internal Salesperson to join our well-established client based in the Newport area.

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Internal Salesperson. This professional will play a pivotal role in our organisation, working in a dynamic team and contributing to our continuous growth and success. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding and nurturing our client base and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will play a crucial role within our glazed balustrade installation team, operating in both commercial and domestic markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing new sales opportunities using outbound cold emails, cold calls and lead follow-ups.

  • Communicating with customers to understand their needs and requirements and identify sales opportunities

  • Answering customers' questions, resolving their concerns and providing additional information via calls and emails

  • Explaining and demonstrating the functions and features of products and services

  • Maintaining and improving the database of prospects

  • Researching for new leads

  • Keeping up to date with product and service information and competitor offers

  • Upselling products and services


  • Full UK driving license

  • At least 2 years sales experience

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment

  • Ability to work independently, organising one's own workload and tasks while demonstrating excellent initiative.

  • Proficiency in using IT system, including Outlook, Word, CRM, and out sales software (training provided)
