Job Title: Junior Account Executive
Location: Abergavenny
Employment Type: Full time permanant
Working Hours: 36.5 Hour working week (08:00 - 17:00 Mon - Thurs, 08:00 - 12:30 Fri)
Salary: Starting salary of £22,000.00 - £23,000.00 dependant on experience (Salary uplift after 6 months, depending on performance)

Job Overview
Great opportunity to join a long-established, successful family business with a global reach, the company are seeking a Junior Account Executive to join the Business Development Team. Working within this award-winning and growing business, you will be a key member of the team. Supported by the Head of Business Development and the Lead Account Manager, you will have opportunities for professional development, growth, and progression. This position would suit someone with an interest in sales, marketing and/or business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Managing and growing customer accounts
- Acting as a direct point of contact for customers
- Manage customer expectations on lead time and quality
- Provide excellent after sales service to retain customers
- Communicate product and pricing details clearly
- Promote new products and services to existing customers
- Build strong customer relationships through clear and constant communication
- Ensure prompt and accurate answers to customer queries
- Working alongside wider teams to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Compile and distribute quotations
- Reporting customer account performance into the Head of Business Development
- Support Sales activities with attendance at trade shows, events, and meetings
Key Skills:
- Good IT and digital skills
- Experience with CRM / ERP software packages is desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical and time management skills
- Ability to work within a fast paced sales environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Able to work as part of a team or using own initiative
- Willing to travel and spend nights away, particularly within the UK, Europe, and America
- Must be pro-active, with a positive outlook and a can-do attitude
Benefits:
- Starting salary of £22,000.00 - £23,000.00 dependant on experience
- Salary uplift after 6 months, depending on performance
- 5 Hour working week (08:00 - 17:00 Mon - Thurs, 08:00 - 12:30 Fri)
- Travel allowance if outside of business catchment area
- Share of quarterly company performance bonus
- Scope for progression as the business and the Business Development team grows
