Candour Talent Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant to join our well-established client based in the Bridgend area.
This role presents a unique chance to become a part of a dedicated team within a well-established FMCG company.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure smooth running of the factory equipment during production hours (day and night)
Liaise with the Operations Director/Technical Manager to ensure all equipment is checked according to the maintenance schedule with additions as and when required.
To ensure products are produced in a timely manner to meet customer requirements
Liaise with Production Manager to ensure customer requirements are met with as little maintenance interruption as possible
Ensure that all areas are secured or locked after any maintenance requirement and necessary paperwork is completed as advised by the Technical Manager
Ensure health and safety requirements are adhered to at all times in respect of yourself and others.
To ensure correct workwear is worn at all times
Sign any necessary paperwork when required
Ensure that adequate stocks of maintenance materials are kept at all times.
To comply with all audits as directed by the Manager
To ensure that all equipment is maintained to ensure that quality products to sell to the mass market.
As part of a team you are required to ensure the production line is operational every day and ensure the line is to an acceptable hygienic working environment as required by the Technical Manager.
