Job Title: Process Injection Moulding Tool Setter

Candour Talent Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Process Injection Moulding Tool Setter to join our well-established client based in the Oakdale, Croespenmaen area.

This role presents a unique chance to become a part of a dedicated team within a well-established company.

Please note, flexibilty is required for this role due to buisness demands. After the initial 3 month training period you will be added onto an on call rota.

Job Description:

• Set up and calibrate injection moulding machines, moulds, and associated equipment to ensure proper production conditions. Operate machinery during production runs, ensuring optimal cycle times and product quality.

• Continuously monitor machine performance, identify issues, and make necessary adjustments to maintain consistent product quality and minimize downtime. Troubleshoot issues related to temperature, pressure, or material flow.

• Conduct regular inspections of finished parts using various measurement tools to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards. Record data and ensure that parts are within acceptable tolerances.

• Perform routine maintenance on machines, equipment, and tools, ensuring all machinery is in good working condition and meets safety standards. Identify and report any mechanical or electrical malfunctions to maintenance personnel.

• Maintain accurate records of production data, machine settings, maintenance activities, and quality checks. Provide detailed reports on production performance, downtime, and issues encountered during the process.

Requirements

• Experience in tool setting
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Consciencious and a keen eye for detail
• Preferred but not essential - dealing with Negri Bossi machinery, ranging from 85-1300 ton press size.
