Job Title: Senior Business Administrator

Location: Bridgend

Employment Type: 12 month contract

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, full time

Salary: £33000 circa DOE

Candour Talent Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Senior Business Administrator to join our well-established client based in the Bridgend area.

As a Senior Business Administrator with a high level of autonomy, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and effective administration of our clients organisation. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating various administrative and financial tasks, providing excellent support to members, and fostering a positive and engaging membership experience. Your attention to detail, organisational skills, and exceptional interpersonal abilities will contribute to the overall success of our organisation.

Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:

· General Accounts Administration (Sage), working in conjunction with company accountant.

· Assist in the preparation and distribution of agendas, meeting minutes, and other documentation for board meetings and member gatherings.

· Maintain organisational records, files, and documentation in a well-organised manner.

· Support the organisation's leadership team by performing general administrative tasks as required.

Membership Management:

· Process new member applications, renewals, and member resignations.

· Maintain an accurate database of member information, ensuring it is always up to date.

· Handle member inquiries promptly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service.

· Generate reports on membership statistics, trends, and engagement levels.

Event Coordination:

· Organise and coordinate formal & informal member events, including meetings, conferences, and large networking gatherings.

· Assist in planning and delivering events by coordinating logistics, managing registrations, attending, and communicating event details to members.

· Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure successful event execution.

Communication and Correspondence:

· Manage member communications through various channels, including emails and social media platforms.

· Prepare and distribute regular updates, announcements, and relevant support initiatives to members.

· Respond to member inquiries and provide necessary information in a timely manner.

· Maintain effective communication with members, fostering positive relationships and engagement.

Skills and Experience:

· Qualification in business administration or a related field (or equivalent experience).

· Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in a membership-based organisation or association.

· Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate professionally and diplomatically with members and Government representatives.

· Experience of accounts administration processes

· Proficient in using standard office software and database management systems.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping and data management.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team environment.

· Demonstrated customer service skills and the ability to build positive relationships with members.

· Knowledge of membership management software or customer relationship management (CRM) systems is a plus.

· Marketing, social media & Website Management experience desirable
