Competition Term and Conditions

 

  1. The promoter of the prize draw is Candour Talent Ltd., The Innovation Centre, Festival Drive, Ebbw Vale, NP23 8XA (the “Promoter”).

  2. To enter the competition, entrants will have to follow @CandourTalent on Twitter. Optionally, the entrant may tweet a set message which entitles them to a second entry. Entries must be confirmed through the Rafflecopter website, which can be found at http://www.rafflecopter.com/rafl/display/ea0c0d063/.

  3. Entrants must be aged 18 or over and reside in the UK. Proof of identity, age and address may be required by the Promoter in order to enter the competition.

  4. The prize shall be formed of one (1) Apple iPad (6th Gen) 32GB, subject to availability. The colour, size and model of the iPad may vary.

  5. The Competition is open between 00:00 GMT Monday 19th November 2018 and 23:59 GMT Monday 31st December 2018, or when 1,000 Twitter followers have been reached (whichever comes first).

  6. Entrants are entitled to a maximum of 2 (two) entries, one per each entry method on Twitter. Multiple entries will only be counted once. The Promoter reserves the right to prevent any entrant from winning the Prize who has, or has attempted to, enter the competition more than once. Entrants may enter the competition once per method on any day of the competition.

  7. You may not enter this competition if you are an employee, or the immediate family of any employee, of the Promoter, any related company or agency or their associated companies.

  8. There will be no more than one (1) winner (the “Winner”). The Winner will be a name chosen at random from a list of the entrants. The Winner will be notified within two (2) working days after the competition closes, if they are successful, through one of the supplied contact methods.

  9. The Winner will be required to confirm acceptance of the Prize within ten working days, no later than 15th January 2019.

  10. The Promoter shall not be liable for any costs associated with the Prize, including but not limited to travel costs.

  11. No alternative prize shall be given and the Promoter shall be under no obligation to award the Prize to the Winner or any alternative winner.

  12. There are no cash or other alternatives to the Prize stated.  The Promoter reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event that circumstances beyond its control mean that the Prize as described cannot be provided.  The Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable.

  13. No purchase is necessary.

  14. This competition is not endorsed or sponsored by Apple, and is run independently by the Promoter.
  15. By entering the competition, you agree to take part in any publicity relating to this competition should you be invited to do so without compensation and the Promoter reserves the right to publish the Winner’s name and photograph in any materials relating to this competition.

  16. All the Promoter’s decisions relating to this competition are final and binding. No correspondence about the competition will be entered into.  The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions as required.

  17. The Promoter provides no warranty or guarantee in relation to the Prize. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your entry in the competition or from the Winner’s enjoyment of the Prize.

  18. By entering the competition the entrant accepts these terms and conditions. Failure to comply with these terms and conditions may result in disqualification from the competition and forfeiture of the Prize.

  19. The promotion shall be governed by English and Welsh law and jurisdiction.
