Courtney Jones

Finance Assistant

Courtney joined Candour Talent in 2019 when she started off as a Recruitment Consultant. She is now the Finance/Payroll Assistant at Candour Talent. Courtney's duties include, processing the temporary payroll for our temporary workers, Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and other activities.

Before moving to Candour Talent, Courtney worked at Acorn Recruitment for 3 years. She started off as an Apprentice Administrator. She was required to answer daily telephone calls; dealing with customers face-to-face via email and managing all administration tasks. As an Apprentice Courtney has the opportunity to work with the compliance team, nursing division, accounts and many more. After completing her Apprenticeship, she worked her way up to Onsite Recruitment Administrator. Courtney's duties were to look after all temporary Acorn staff on site, interviewing new potential candidates and providing excellent customer service to the client.

In June 2023, Courtney successfully summited Mount Kilimanjaro, one of the seven summits, and raised £1,470.00 for Cancer Research UK.

Courtney really enjoys being outdoors; Running, walking and mountain climbing. She loves travelling and visiting new countries with her Fiancé.

Courtney is motivated by several things. First and foremost, she is motivated by meeting deadlines, targets or goals. Courtney believes she is at her best at work when she has responsibility for important deadlines because this gives her a great sense of achievement. She is also motivated by learning new things. If she gets the opportunity to take on a new role, or learn a new skill then this motivates her because she feels as if she is improving her depth of knowledge.
