Matthew Burkitt

​Matthew founded Candour Talent back in 2016 and started the company working alone from his home kitchen. Matthew is currently the Managing Director, in which he oversees the whole business and management team, developing and implementing strategic plans ensuring we hit our goals and objectives. He is responsible for implementing Candour Talent's vision, to lead the industry across the UK, ensuring we deliver the best talent at the right time every time.

Before establishing Candour Talent, Matthew gained experience as a Permanent Consultant at various recruitment agencies. An intriguing facet about Matthew is his appearances on the popular TV show "Homes Under the Hammer," having been featured twice with a forthcoming second episode.

Outside of work, Matthew finds joy in playing golf, especially with his son, who is now competing in world championships. His primary drive stems from the vision and mission of Candour, as well as his deep commitment to his two children, Taio-Blake and Neyo.
