Job Title: Warehouse / Forklift Operative

Salary: £12.15 an Hour

Candour Talent Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Warehouse / Forklift Operative to join our well-established client based in the Cardiff area.

This role presents a unique chance to become a part of a dedicated team within a well-established Manufacturing company.

Job Description:

Role:

• Primary focus is to support Dispatch and manufacturing activities allowing production personnel to focus exclusively on value-added work.
• You will ensure smooth production operation during the day by focusing on the daily shipping list to meet the customer demand.
• Load, and unload finished products and raw materials.
• Provide material delivery, preparation, and replenishment support to the various production areas within the facility.
• Ensures a clean and safe work environment (5S Methodology)
• Ensures material availability, Boxes, movement of stock to warehouse, replenishment of Consumables.
• Supports the manufacturing Department, with Holidays, Sickness as and when required to maintain the running of the department.
• Keep accurate inventory of raw material in designated areas of both Dispatch and manufacturing.
• Able to understand schedule and work closely with Team Leaders to maximize production work flow.
• Transfer information and knowledge across shifts as required; Work as a team to ensure completion of product in a timely manner.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience Required

• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work on your own initiative with minimum direction.
• Ability to organise information and resources effectively, prioritising tasks according to their urgency and importance.

Own Folk lift Counterbalance Licence essential. Cannot be in house.
