Job Title: Warehouse/Forklift Operative

Location: Ebbw Vale

Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary ongoing

Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 6am-2pm, 40 hours per week.

Candour Talent Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Warehouse/Forklift Operativeto join our well-established client based in the Ebbw Vale area.

This role presents a unique chance to become a part of a dedicated team within a well-established Manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary focus is to support Dispatch and manufacturing activities allowing production personnel to focus exclusively on value-added work.

  • You will ensure smooth production operation during the day by focusing on the daily shipping list to meet the customer demand.

  • Load, and unload finished products and raw materials.

  • Provide material delivery, preparation, and replenishment support to the various production areas within the facility.

  • Communicates with planning, and other departments via e-mail or in person to resolve issues

  • Tracks and enters data into MRP and Excel spreadsheets.

  • Ensures a clean and safe work environment (5S Methodology)

  • Ensures material availability, Boxes, movement of stock to warehouse, replenishment of Consumables.

  • Supports the manufacturing Department, with Holidays, Sickness as and when required to maintain the running of the department.

  • Keep accurate inventory of raw material in designated areas of both Dispatch and manufacturing.

  • Able to understand schedule and work closely with Team Leaders to maximize production work flow.

  • Transfer information and knowledge across shifts as required; Work as a team to ensure completion of product in a timely manner.

  • Demonstrating the competent application of good manufacturing practices required to consistently operate to high standards


  • Quality system awareness

  • Effective communication skills

  • PC Knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.

  • Ability to work on your own initiative with minimum direction.

  • Ability to organise information and resources effectively, prioritising tasks according to their urgency and importance.

  • Folk lift Counterbalance Licence,

  • The Individual for this role needs to be focused, driven and self-motivated with a potential to develop into a leadership role.
