Candour Talent Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer/ Fitter to join our well-established client based in the Ebbw Valearea.
This role presents a unique chance to become a part of a dedicated team within a well-established Manufacturing company.
Job Description:
Undertake operational site maintenance and installation tasks.
Ensure compliance with site standards and delivery of a timely service
Assist the site to meet environmental standards and improvement deadlines.
To work in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within their area and across the wider business e.g. reduction of waste, recycling etc.
To report, update plan maintenance completion.
Any other duties as required by the Manager commensurate with the role.
Essential skills:
Strong, practical engineering background
Up to date knowledge about processing equipment and techniques
Understanding of Engineering and operational processes and standards
Flexible approach to work
Logical and pragmatic
Fair and honest, high degree of integrity
Self-motivated, hard working and organised (time)
Able to prioritise
