Welder / Fabricator (TIG) - Temp to Perm

A well-established and growing bespoke fabrication company based in Macclesfield is looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our friendly team. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with genuine prospects for development and long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• TIG welding to a high standard
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Rolling, folding, and fabricating stainless steel sheet and rod
• Producing bespoke, one-off components
• Potential involvement in heavier project work as skills progress

Experience required:

• 5 years' experience in welding/fabrication
• Strong TIG welding ability - essential
• Experience with thin sheet stainless steel welding

Skills & Knowledge required:

• Ability to roll and fold materials
• Confident working from technical drawings
• Coded welding experience - advantageous
• A practical, hands-on assessment will be part of the selection process

Job Types: Temporary to Permanent after successful probationary period of 12 Weeks

Pay: £16.00 - £18.00 Per Hour (Depending on experience )
