Candour Talent Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Assembler to join our well-established client based in the Swansea area.

The primary purpose of this role is to support efficient and accurate production. The role contributes directly to the assembly and preparation of high-quality products

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspection, cleaning & preparation of product

• Assembly of standard product

• Test of standard product

• Use of hand & power tools

• Operate various items of machinery

• Follow processes in accordance with production documents

• Assist in the preparation of test & production procedures

• Completion of production & test documentation

• Workplace housekeeping

• Receipt & storage of material

• Packaging & despatch of finished goods

• Any other reasonable duties

Requirements:

• Must be able to concentrate in a busy work environment

• Detail-oriented in order to maintain a high level of quality

• Keep accurate accounts of time and production

• Keep production on schedule, and maintain a safe working environment

• Must be able to work with various personalities while maintaining cooperative working relationships.

• Must be able to walk, sit and/or stand throughout an eight-hour day.

• Must be able to consistently lift up to 25kg. from a floor or table position to chest high using a proper lifting technique.

Technical Requirements:

• Must be trainable on various machinery and trainable in various aspects of intricate production techniques.

• Must have strong general electrical assembly skills.
