Job Description:

An Machine Operative is responsible for performing the electrochemical process of anodizing metals—primarily aluminum—to improve durability, corrosion resistance, and visual appearance. This role involves operating and maintaining anodizing equipment, ensuring chemical baths are correctly formulated, and adhering to quality and safety standards throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor anodizing equipment to process aluminum and other metals.
Prepare metal surfaces for anodizing, including cleaning and pre-treatment.
Maintain correct chemical composition of anodizing baths through regular testing and adjustments.
Inspect finished products to ensure quality, thickness, and color consistency meet specifications.
Monitor process parameters such as voltage, current, and temperature for optimal results.
Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Record and report production data, test results, and maintenance activities.
Collaborate with quality control and production teams to meet customer requirements.
