Job Title: Machine Tool Setter

Location: Croespenmaen, Blackwood

Pay Rate: £34000-£38000 per annum

Shift: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 5.00pm

Due to the demanding needs of the buisness, this will require a flexible approach to working hours, overtime will be paid over and above the contracted working hours.

Candour Talent Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Plastic Injection Machine Tool Setter to join our well-established client based in the Croespenmaen area.

This role presents a unique chance to become a part of a dedicated team within a well-established Manufacturing company.

Key responsibilities :

The successful candidate would be required to work as part of a technical team in a busy and fast paced injection moulding shop floor environment. The company operates a 24/7 production schedule with 16 injection moulding machines including Negri Bossi, Engel and BMB ranging from 110-1300 ton press size.

The day to day role would be:

• Carrying out mould tool changes as per daily schedule (avg 5-8 tool changes per day)
• Process and adapt conditions to produce quality approved components
• Complete settings paperwork
• Use of overhead gantry
• Use of robots to include six axis robots
• Responsible for Health and Safety procedures while setting the machines
• Ensuring and assisting in always maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Handling of heavy and expensive tooling

Requirements:

• Safety Shoes/Boots
• Competent in process knowledge
• Understanding of automation, processing and trouble shooting
