Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operator to join our dynamic team at an industrial setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with hand and power tools. As a Production Operator, you will play a vital role in the assembly and production processes within our warehouse environment, ensuring that products meet our high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain various types of machinery and equipment used in the production process.
Assemble components and products according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify any maintenance needs or malfunctions.
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Assist in inventory management by tracking materials and supplies as needed.
Communal showers must be done on site.
Blood tests and drug and alcohol tests are done on a regular basis.
Qualifications
Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in operating machinery.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Previous experience in assembly work is highly desirable.
Familiarity with warehouse operations will be an advantage.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Hours/Shift Pattern
Days = 6am-2pm
Nights = 10pm-6am
Afternoons = 1:30pm-10pm
OT on weekends available.
