Warehouse Manager

Location: Chepstow
Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm | Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Candour Talent is proud to be representing a growing and well-established business in Chepstow in their search for a Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure the smooth logistical flow of materials in and out of the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all warehouse operations, including goods receiving, stock control, and order dispatch

• Operate forklift trucks for loading/unloading and moving stock

• Unload and inspect incoming deliveries, updating internal stock systems

• Quarantine and record any non-compliant materials

• Organise transport and liaise with courier and carrier companies

• Maintain efficient stock locating, storage, and rotation systems

• Pick and prepare customer orders, ensuring accuracy and care

• Record and report waste, damage, or rejected goods

• Maintain accurate stock records and participate in regular stock reviews

• Contribute to warehouse improvement initiatives and process development

• Keep the warehouse environment clean, tidy, and safe at all times

• Support year-end stock counts and ad-hoc stock checks

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing or leading operations in a warehouse environment

• Confident using warehouse systems and operating a wide range of equipment

• Valid UK driving licence required

• Forklift truck licence preferred

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused attitude

• Ability to maintain high productivity and organisation standards independently

• Excellent time management and communication skills
