Job Title: Architectural and Structural Fabricator/Welder

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm and Friday 7:30am - 1pm

Salary: £15.70 - £17 per hour DOE

Candour Talent Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Architectural and Structural Fabricator/Welder to join our well-established client based in the Bridgend area.

This role presents a unique chance to become a part of a dedicated team within a well-established Manufacturing company.

Skills required:

• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to specifications. This will be using carbon steel, aluminium, stainless steel and brass.
• Perform welding tasks using MIG and TIG welding techniques on sheet metal and other materials.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete fabrication tasks.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with standards.
• Interpret 2D and 3D technical drawings to accurately assemble components.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience:

• Proven experience in welding and fabrication, particularly with MIG and TIG welding
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and power tools.
• Basic maths skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Willing to engage in continuous improvement projects.
• Good timekeeping
